Q. What does the Collision damage waiver reduce my liability to ?
A. The C.D.W. reduces your liability from $2,500 to $1,000 . Unfortunately our insurance policy doesn’t allow to be reduced below $1,000 .

Q. Are the Vehicles insured?
A. Yes, all our vehicles are fully comprehensively insured, (beware multi-national car rental companies do not have insurance. We do !!)

Q. Does the C.D.W cover me for all accidents.
A. Our Insurance does cover all accidents, including single vehicle accidents. However there are some instances you may not be coved and are liable for the cost of all repairs. Examples: Water Submersion, Over head damage, Major Under-body damage or driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Our insurance company will deem what is/isn’t covered as per our policy.

Q. Additional Drivers
A. Our rental agreement allows you to have 2 different drivers at next extra cost. Drivers must be listed on the rental agreement to be insured. Multiple drivers are allowed in accordance with our terms and conditions for business use only.

Q. I am under 21 years old. Can I drive the vehicle?
A. Unfortunately you are unable to drive the vehicle as you are not covered by insurance.

Q. I am between 21 and 25 years old or I’m under the P plate laws. Can I drive the vehicle?
A. Yes you can, however you will be required to take the Collision damage waiver, but your liability will remain at $2,500.

Q. What licence do I need to drive a mini bus?
A. It depends on which vehicle seating capacity the mini bus has. 8 and 12 seat mini buses can be driven on a normal car licence. In Victoria, to drive any vehicle that seats more than 12 people including the driver, must hold a minimum of a Light Rigid endorsed driver licence.

Q. Do you provide drivers?
A. We do have drivers but generally only for day time driving jobs or for corporate customers. Hourly rates vary depending on requirements. We don’t provide drivers for Bucks nights, Hens nights etc.

Q. Where are we located:
We have 5 locations in Gippsland Bairnsdale, Sale, Traralgon, Yarram and Pakenham also 2 Sub agencies in Melbourne ( Pick up and drop off only ). All reservations are done and logistics are done at our head office in Yarram.

Ascot Vale and Preston
As we use a sub agency, the hours are strictly as stated
Mon – Fri: 7:45am to 5:45pm
Sat: 8:00am to 3:00pm
Sun: 8:00am to 11:00am

Q. Is there a secure spot where I can leave my vehicle at your premises whilst I have the hire vehicle?
A. We do have secure parking available for our Gippsland and Pakenham Locations only. Unfortunately in Preston and Ascot Vale this service is not available. However both locations are easily accessed using public transport.

Q. Can I drop the vehicle off after hours?
A. Our Gippsland and Pakenham Locations you can return the vehicle after hours. Preston and Ascot Vale is strictly office hours only.

Q. Do you deliver vehicles?
A. We can deliver vehicles to anywhere in Melbourne for bookings more than 4 days. A small drop off fee may apply depending on location.

Q. What fuel do the vehicles take?
A. All of our vehicles are diesel, Except the 4x2 Hilux, 4x2 Dual Cab Hilux, 8 Seater Carnival and Hiace Van which use Unleaded Petrol.

Q. What is the fuel economy for the buses or trucks?
A. 12 Seater uses approx 10 lts per 100kms.
21 Seater uses approx 18 lts per 100kms.
3 Tonne Furniture Truck uses approx 25 lts per 100kms.

Q. How many people do the mini buses seat?
A.21 seater has 20 passenger seats. 21 in total when you include the driver.
12 seater has 11 passenger seats. 12 in total when you include the driver.

Q. What is the Towing Capacity of the vehicles?
A. The towing capacity for each vehicle is dependent on the Tow bar rating.
None of our vehicles have electric brake systems fitted. General rule of thumb is the utes can tow 1.5 tonnes (braked) and the 4wd’s 2.5 tonne (braked).

Q. Do our vehicles have air conditioners, cd players and seat belts?
A. All the vehicles vary on their equipment specification. All our vehicles apart from one 21 seater has Air-conditioning. Not all 21 seaters have seat belts. Cd players may or may not be fitted in the 21 seater, four wheel drives and utes.

Q. Do our vehicles have child seat Restraints?
A. The 8 and 12 seaters have 3 child Restraints. Land Cruiser wagon has 1 child restraint. 21 seaters do not have child restraints. 2wd and 4wd Utes, Vans, Troop Carriers and Furniture Trucks do not have child restraints.

Q. Do our removalist 3 tonne trucks come with Ropes, Trolleys, Blankets or a Hydraulic Tail Gate?
A. All of our truck come with a HYD tailgate and a trolley, free of charge. You will need supply your own blankets and ropes.The truck are fitted with tie down rails. We can supply boxes of various sizes for sale.

Q. Do we need to bring back the Vehicles cleaned?
A. We ask all of customers to return the vehicles in a clean state, free of any bottles, rubbish etc. Common sense applies. Cleaning fees will apply if vehicle has been smoked in or has been returned in an unacceptable state. Vehicles do not have to be washed on the outside.

Q. One way rentals.
A. One way rentals can be done between any of our locations.
$100 relocation fee to our Gippsland branches.
$200 drop off in our Melbourne locations
Other location will be dependent on location of drop off and type of vehicle.

Q. Rental Agreement and Terms and Conditions.
A. Our Rental Agreement has been approved by Consumer Affairs Victoria with the Support of the VACC.

Q. Are any of your vehicles are under our non smoking policy.
A. All of our vehicles are under our non smoking policy. Government regulations do not permit smoking in the mini buses. $200 fine if found smoking inside the vehicle. $100 cleaning fee applies.
